As an integral member of our team in the Netherlands, you’ll handle global shipments and play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with aviation security regulations.
Responsibilities
Operations and Logistics
- Spearhead day-to-day operations and provide top-tier customer service.
- Manage import/export shipments within the Netherlands and oversee global accounts.
- Handle key accounts, coordinating point-to-point shipments across the globe.
- Offer pricing and quotes, ensuring competitive and accurate estimates.
- Efficiently manage bookings across air, ground, and sea freight, emphasizing air shipments.
- Prepare and finalize airway bills, ensuring precise documentation for shipments.
Aviation Security
- Assume the role of Aviation Security Officer, guaranteeing adherence to Dutch aviation security regulations.
- Undergo a comprehensive 3 to 4 day course to become a certified ASO.
General Responsibilities
- Optimize operational processes for heightened efficiency and reduced turnaround times.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to streamline workflows and overcome operational challenges.
- Serve as the primary liaison for key clients, ensuring exceptional service and timely query resolution.
- Proactively communicate with customers, providing real-time updates on shipments.
- Resolve customer issues swiftly, ensuring elevated levels of satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Fluency in Dutch and English is mandatory.
- 5+ years of logistics operations experience, specializing in airfreight and time-critical shipments.
- Proficiency in booking and creating airway bills.
- Fundamental understanding of Dutch and EU customs procedures for imports and exports.
- Strong analytical prowess and problem-solving capabilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Education
A bachelor’s degree in business, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
This role seeks a proactive, detail-oriented professional well-versed in time-critical logistics. You’ll need a proven track record in managing operations and delivering exceptional customer service.
