How you can play your part:

As a Business Development Manager –you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth within your region. This role requires a proven track record in selling time-critical freight services, exceptional sales skills, and a deep understanding of the logistics needs in key industries.

 

You will:

🔹 Identify and acquire potential new business to expand customer portfolio.

🔹 Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets.

🔹 Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with customers.

🔹 Arrange and conduct customer visits as required and follow up on network and sales leads

🔹 Maintain strong relationships within the international network.

🔹 Contribute actively to year-on-year gross revenue increase through both existing and new business.

🔹 Follow up on freight quotes with customers and participate in tender preparations and submissions.

🔹 Work closely with the operations and customer service teams to ensure seamless service delivery.

🔹 Use CRM tools to manage client interactions, sales activities, and pipeline management.

 

About you:

This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and ambitious self-starter with a strong drive to develop sales strategies. The ideal candidate will be eager to identify and secure new business opportunities to grow our customer base and hit the ground running from day one.

 

Your Qualifications:

✅  Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.

✅  Minimum of 3 years of experience in business development or sales within the logistics industry, with a focus on time-critical freight.

✅  Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.

✅  Strong understanding of logistics requirements in aviation, maritime/ship spares, automotive, semi-conductors, or medical device technology.

✅  Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

✅  Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

✅  Fluency in English; additional language skills relevant to the specific region are a plus.
